The Green Hornet omg

I'm well on my way to becoming completely obsessed with The Green Hornet, in at least two (if not three) of this fascinating character's incarnations (the 1940 serial and the 2011 movie).

I based this painting on hot, epic, flawless Van Williams, the actor from the underrated and awesome 1966-1967 TV series:

Though the painting came out kind of looking a little more like Seth Rogen. WHICH IS OKAY because that movie is also underrated and awesome, and gave me a million fangasms.

I just LOVE the idea of this series. I love the epic Britt Reid/Kato bromance. I love pretty much all of it. It's too bad I waited so long to check it out... though I blame that on the fact that there are too many "The Green --"s and I couldn't figure out which one was which. :/
